Discuss the importance of a SWOT analysis in the strategic planning process of EZ-Pleeze.  Strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats is what makes up the acronym SWOT, and this type of analysis is what helps a company identify these attributes pertaining to their current strategic plan for the company. By using a SWOT analysis, a company is able to dissect their current strategic plan of operation to identify where they are excelling, where they could use some improvement, what sort of opportunities should be pursued, and also what current risks may need to be addressed. By doing this, the current strategic plan in place can then be tweaked and modified to address each of the components of the SWOT analysis.  2. Discuss internal strengths for EZ-Pleeze.  From the SWOT table above, EZ-Pleeze has multiple internal strengths to work from. For starters, EZ-Pleeze has a wide array of potato and corn products currently being produced and sold.
