Since data would be stored digitally through the VHD, physical hard drives are not necessary. This is a good thing because larger storage space may cost a lot initially. Virtual hard disks may also have an initial cost with the virtual storage product plus the long-term upkeep costs. The total costs of both options should be analyzed to see which may be cheaper to maintain in the long run.   VHD adds extra complexity to storage. In some cases, a hypervisor manufacturer may not provide any technical support after a VHD is installed. On a plus side, VHDs provide more flexibility than tradition storage. Since all information is stored on a central host server or computer, the data can be accessed from almost anywhere, virtually (Posey, 2011).   Storage pools are defined as a collection of storage volumes or allocated space. They are generally used to store backed-up, archived or space-managed files. There are a few reasons why storage cannot be polled.
