It is used to manage access of different components on the computer. Examples of these components are the memory access, CPU access, plus disk and network I/O access. Hypervisor allows multiple operating systems to be installed on the same hardware and allows the operating systems to run together at the same time.   Hyper-V is not enabled by default on a system and instead must be installed manually. Once enabled, as the system boots up, Hyper-V will load automatically before the operating system loads.
