A relational database allows you to collect and store data that can be used to create and analyze data in the form of reports.   Microsoft Access is a relational database management system. Access stores data in related tables, where data from one table is related to data in another table (Michael Alexander, 2016). Access uses database objects to organize data for the user. These objects help a user to enter, store, analyze, and compile the data into useful information that can be used in reports. These Objects include (MS Access - Objects, n.d.) (Access 2013 - Introduction to Objects, n.d.):   ï‚·Table – Tables are used to define and store data. Tables are organized into vertical columns and horizontal rows. Columns are also referred to as fields and rows are called records (Access 2013 - Introduction to Objects, n.d.).   oFields – A field uses the column heading to identify the type of data contained in the field.
