The connection between the WBS and the CCP relies on any changes that need to be made to the project. Any change that must be made to the WBS becomes a CCP. Moreover, the WBS serves as part of the control plan, a project manager can quickly determine if the project is not meeting expectation just by reviewing the WBS (Bowen, R., 2011).
