One of the most popular is the VARK model. It was developed by Neil D. Fleming in 1987 (Hong-rui et al., 2018). Students and educators use the model to help them to identify preferred learning styles. The name VARK came from the first letters of for four different learning styles; visual, auditory, reading and writing, and kinesthetic (VARK Learn 2016).
