Immigration_The_Case_for_Limits.edited.docx Grand Canyon University: PHI-307 Part One - Précis One of the most hotly debated issues of our day centers around the issue of Immigration, no other issue has brought on more division between friends, family and political leaders then this critical issue. When you open speak about your ideology to others you are placed into the camp of bleeding-heartliberals who wants to save the world, hug a tree or have open borders. If you are in favor of having closed borders and protecting your community from outsiders and strange ideals then your labeled a œfar-Right: they are fascists or racists who believe that it is wrong in principle for their political community to admit immigrants who do not conform to the approved cultural or racial stereotype Dennis Miller. The author Dennis Miller in his conservative Precis gives his stages for strikingrestrictiveimmigration policies to those states that wish to use them for the logical purpose of limiting the flow of immigrates. His first debate comes from the liberal thought that says that people should have the right to live when and where they want, Miller challenges this notion by saying there is a difference between basic freedoms that he agrees that we all have and enjoy and then he splits it into bare freedoms that do not have any kind of guarantees or protections, then he makes a ridiculous comparison about purchasing a high priced sports car, in that you may want to buy it but is it a right or do you have the right to purchase
