LZT2 Task 2.docx    Power, Influence, and Leadership  “ LZT2  Task 2  Innovative Thinking  As CIO, I would introduce an internal website for sharing ideas. It will be accessible to all employees. The site would encourage submission of new ideas or improvement to current processes. All employees will be able to review, support, and comment on the ideas. There will be a team comprised of subject matter experts from all areas of the company that will review the ideas monthly to determine feasibility and acceptability of the ideas based on cost, support, and timeliness. Those that submit ideas that are advanced will receive prizes and awards.  Another method of encouraging innovative thinking will be company challenges. These challenges can include naming systems, providing solutions for problems, or methods for sharing information. Each challenge will be open to all employees and have a time limit and award
