PSY104 Week 4 Journal

The types of intelligences that I feel that I embody are visual-spatial and also interpersonal intelligence.  Spatial intelligence described in text states that it “involves skills related to visualization like those related to solving puzzles, map reading, art, design, and drafting and architecture.” Interpersonal intelligence is described “involving the ability to interact with others” (Mossler, 2011). 

I know that you said to choose one, but I think that I embody both of these because I know that I learn a lot better by visually looking at things and also listening to others and how they are trying to solve the problems we are working on.  I feel like if I see it on paper or write it down on paper, my brain takes a mental picture and when I am answering a question I can go back to that mental pic and see it. With that being said, I also like lectures and here people explaining their way of solving things.  I am a people person and love to communicate with others and also lend a helping hand when needed.
