Cheng, on the other hand, goes all-in with her approach to histography. Instead of blending her techniques as the other author did, she gives a global perspective in a modern way, which allows for a more balanced view of historical documents and a new historical perspective in history scholars. This allows me as an individual to use both approaches to approach my research in a new light. Giving credence to the thought that more than just one society hope to shape that society.
