The outlines that each talked about, Brundage, allowed for a blending in a more conventional Approach 2 history. His ability to adapt and add in the global approach of history evolving since the 1970s includes societies subjugated in the past lens to his blending of the two methods. Cheng, on the other hand, goes all-in with her approach to histography. Instead of blending her techniques as the other author did, she gives a global perspective in a modern way, which allows for a more balanced view of historical documents and a new historical perspective in history scholars. This allows me as an individual to use both approaches to approach my research in a new light. Giving credence to the thought that more than just one society hope to shape that society. Such as thinking about the Native American, African, and others who helped bring about the United States in its inception [1][2]  In John E Selby's Historiographical essay on the American Revolution, the American Revolution analysis from the standpoint of the American political dynamic through the colonial times into the current times demonstrated at least in his opinion the evolution of and changing scholastic necessity for change. This shows that many scholars are adapting to the times
