CS204_Unit_6__1_.docx    Organization Observation and Evaluation  Purdue Global University    Introduction slide  The organization that I observed for this evaluation is Microsoft Corporation, which is headquartered in Redmond, Washington, USA. My role in this observation was a customer and the date and time of observation was Wednesday, 16th 10:00AM. Microsoft is a multinational company that deals with the production and development of personal computer software systems, such as Internet Explorer, Microsoft Windows, and web browsers. It is the leading worldwide organization when it comes to technology solutions, servicers, and software.   Professional appearance of employees  Microsoft is a Technology Company, and here, employees wear business casual outfits that enhance the nature of the business. There is no pressure to wearing suits, unlike other businesses, because it focuses on what employees can bring to the table. This dress code is also influenced by the culture of the organization, where it places the needs of the employees first. Microsoft working environment provides an open space where employees are free to interact and collaborate with one another. There are no coveted offices for individuals, but rather an open office with walls that are gleaming from floor to the ceiling with whiteboards.
