They sell just about anything you need on a daily basis. Sam Walton opened the first Walmart store in Rogers, Arkansas on July 2, 1962 (Walmart). Throughout the years Walmart has gained tons of stores and employees. I am not sure how much Walmarts minimum wage was in 1962 but now it is $11 an hour. Walmart has great benefits like; 10% discount on most items, a college degree for $1 a day, reimbursed mileage when traveling, paid to relocate, and so much more. Professional Appearance of Employees and Company – Employees can wear any color jeans (without holes), any color shirts as long as they are not revealing (without any writing or screen-print), any shoes that are closed toe and heel, and a colorful vest. There are other areas of the store that require a different dress code. Pharmacy techs wear scrubs and pharmacists dress casual and wear a white coat. Fresh workers have to wear a black apron and a hat or hair net. – There isnt anything about the employees appearance that distracts anyone from their professionalism. Of course, as long as they dont wear anything inappropriate and are well-groomed. I did see an employee with joggers and slippers on today and had the Manager send him home. A f
