Human trafficking “occurs when a trafficker compels a victim by force, fraud, or coercion to perform labor, services, or commercial sex” (CDC, 2021).  This paper will discuss the Blue Campaign, specifically, the organizations mission and values contribution to public health and safety improvements, the ability to promote equal opportunity and improving quality of life in the community, the impact of funding sources, and how the organization impacts the health and/or safety of a local community.  Organization Mission and Values Contribution to Public Health and Safety  Improvements  The Blue Campaign is a national awareness campaign to help raise national awareness for human trafficking.  The Blue Campaign contributes to public health and safety improvements by “educating public, law enforcement, and other industry partners to recognize indicators of human trafficking, and how to appropriately respond to possible cases” (DHS, 2021a). There are many resources available on the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) website that shares educational videos and training on how to identify human trafficking.  Organizations Ability to Promote Equal Opportunity and Improving Quality of Life in the Community  As stated earlier, the Blue Campaigns mission is to help raise national awareness for human trafficki
