It is extremely important to lead, educate, and guide the next generation of leaders to the path of success and independence. To be a strong and respectable leader, one must have strong ethical traits. When I think about a leader that I have worked with that exhibits strong ethical leadership traits are Ms. Getachew. One important trait Ms. Getachew exhibits is mentorship. During my short time knowing Ms. Getachew, she has never failed to take the time to guide, teach, and mentor everyone that she meets. She always takes extra time out of her day to make sure the people who she is leading and working with learns something new and experience different opportunities so they can grow. For example, Ms. Getachew moved up to a new job within the company and fortunately, she decided to stay within the company. Even though she moved onto a new job, she always made the time to mentor, teach, and guide her successor to her old job. Her goal always is to make sure to help people be successful and be happy.   Another strong ethical trait Ms. Getachew exhibit is patience. When being a leader, patience is a very important trait to practice and uphold. Without patience, nothing can be done. Ms. Getachew approaches all people and situations with patience.
