Knowing the different types of retail displays and how they are used across a variety of product categories is critical to making an impact on sales. I recently went to a store to buy a computer. I didn™t know what to buy or brand. I knew I wanted certain things on my computer. I was looking fora certain size monitor, how many gigabytes, and a good warranty. When walking down the aisle of computers I noticed a display of Apple computers with big bright screens. The displays are surrounded by everything Apple. They all looked the same. I did look at all of them but were pricey and not what I was looking for on my specifications. Next display are various no name brands which I did look at each one and they were all good but each one had something that weren™t in my specifications. I noticed from media displays to interactive floor models, retailers must keep up with the new trends of digital technology and incorporate it into their Visual Merchandising in order to stay relevant and compelling to their increasingly connected audience today while also reaching new audiences. I go onto the next display which is Dell Computers.They had a display with gaming connected to some of the computers to show their capacity. I thought WOW!
