Some of my clients struggle with sleep, have nightmares, drug intake, abuse other people and or animals, self-harm, and cause depression. These scars are damaging to a child's sense of self, their future relationships, and ability to function at home, work and school. There are different case studies regarding child abuse, and neglect are typical results of products of the child's environment. For example, a child raised in a family that men have control over the women, the children in the family may view this behavior as normal. Another cause of child abuse and child neglect consists of parents being abusive with each other or the child, which can cause a child to have abusive behavior.
