Explain how nurses apply the identified theory from part A to implement excellent nursing practices.  Nurses implement excellent nursing practices when applying Martha Rogers theory of the Science of Unitary Human Beings by focusing on the whole body not just the area the patient is complaining about. The focus is aimed toward, for example, the injured leg but nurses also need focus their attention toward the patient being able to complete Activities of Daily Living ie: being able to urinate, can they ambulate safely if appropriate, are they able to perform these ADLs or do they need assistance, etc. Focusing on the entire being promotes healing and reinforces to the patient that their well-being is our first priority.    A2. Discuss how the identified theory from part A fits your professional practice.  Martha Rogers nursing theory (Science of Unitary Human Beings) has influenced my values and goal in many ways including the need to treat the patient, as a whole being including ways to assist the patient with changing their environment along with caring for themselves.  My use of humor and therapeutic human touch have provided me with ways to improve my relationship with patients and gained their trust in my professional abilities allowing them the comfort level to participate in their own c
