Upon arrival we noticed some shell casings, bloody fingerprints, and drug paraphernalia. We also encountered some bloody clothing, a crowbar, a fired bullet, and some tire marks leading up to and away from the crime scene. The tattered bloody clothing may be instrumental in determining the size and gender of the attack as the victim was completely clothed. The fired bullet will help us identify the caliber of the firearm used, the make and model of the firearm used, and where the suspect shot the firearm from. The crowbar may be able to help us identify how the suspect got into the building. Finally, the tire marks may help us identify the make and model of the suspects vehicle, where it has been driven and what type of tires are on it. If the tires are rare it may lead to a place of purchase and a list of possible suspect names. When collecting the evidence, we are going to start with the visible fingerprints. They are called visible fingerprints since they were left after the fingers came into contact with blood. The fingerprints were left on glass which is a hard-nonabsorbent material, this makes the collection of the prints straight forward, we can simply apply powder or treat them with super glue to develop them.
