week_1_revised.docx     Course Project Week One  Chamberlain College of Nursing  SPCH-277N-0 Interpersonal Communication  Course Project Week One  I found trying to find things I cant do a little more difficult.  I had to really put thought into it.  I came up with these four: “I cant help but worry about things out of my control.”, “I cant say no when it comes to my children.”, “I cant let my husband do certain chores around the house.”, and “ I cant allow myself to get to close to people.”  I can revise two of these statements to say I wont, which are: “I wont let my husband help with certain household chores.” and “I wont allow myself to get to close to people.”  Leaving me with   I Cant   â€œI cant help but worry about things out of my control” I have trouble not being able to fix something or being told I cant.  I like knowing what will happen and when.  Things that dont go as planned makes my anxiety levels rise.  I try not to let it get to me but nothing has worked so far. My husband says I need to learn to let go.  I have actually talked to my doctor and a therapist about this, they have both gave me things to try.  I wouldnt consider myself a control freak, I just liked planned out things.If things are hectic I feel as if I cannot communicate like I would if things were in placed and planned out.  When I was 15 I was diagnosed with diabetes. I was young and I knew something was wrong, I tried to take control by asking my doctor to test me for diabetes when I wen
