Veterans experienced traumatic incidents during times of war, and many suffer from mentalhealth issues.Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) andSevere Anxiety are widespread mental health issues that affect veterans during the post-combative period. PTSD restricts veterans capability tofunction properly and obtain important resources. Due to the inadequacy of mental health resources, some veterans are forced to live on the street without access to resources necessary for survival. In addition to that, another factor that may lead to homelessness amongst veterans, is the inability to access job opportunities that align with their qualifications. This essay will explore how the use of sociological imagination can be used to target homelessness amongst veterans in the United States. The concept of sociological imagination enables us to think about society on a larger scale.
