Jack White can make change happen within the pet food division. It sounds as though he wants to do what is best for business but as in life there are risks for everything we do. For this scenario however, the three risks associated with the need for change in the pet food division of Strickland Corporation are: resistance to change from employees, operational disruption, and ineffective leadership. Describe the different approaches Jack may consider that could be used to manage resistance. Jack just so happens to be in a position where he must consider which approaches can be utilized to manage the resistance of change. There are 3 approaches jack can choose to make in this situation. The first one being that he creates a Win-Win situation. This way both the employees and the managers could profit from executing tasks that benefits both. Doing so will diminish the resistance to change noticeably. The second method would be to Build Rapport. Managers should create a personal rapport with the employees so as to understand and address their comments, questions, and concerns towards the change that wants to be fulfilled. These concerns can be addressed to overcome the resistance to change. The last approach that would work this situation is called œCommunication of Expectations. It is helpful if the expectations
