Multiple relationships are a dilemma because it can cause many personal and ethical problems. Multiple relationships can happen in three possible ways according to the APA code (2002).  œOne possible way is that the patients and the professional individual have a relationship at the same time with a different role. The second possible way is at the same time the patients and the professional individual has some type of relationship with the professional individual relatives or someone that is associated with the professional.
