C929_Paper.docx Task A: Summarize Endothon's Outsourcing Needs & Expectations Endothon is a company with over 4,600 employees, has decided to outsource its need to build an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. Our company needs a new ERP system that will continually grow and support our organization's technological advancement. The current I.T. infrastructure in place is more than 20-years old. It currently supports various types of employees (virtual and onsite), different equipment types (Laptops/PC's/copiers, etc.), and telecommunications spread across network campuses. All these moving parts require a knowledgeable team that has implemented advanced technology within an organization. My current I.T. team does not have the right skill set or experience to work with these advanced ERP solutions. Our primary qualifications and needs for our vendor must be met for this proposal to be granted. A minimum of ten years of consulting experience for developing, configuring, and implementing ERP systems. Additionally, this vendor must have completed three I.T. strategic plans over the last five years. Once we have a vendor in place, we will gain a new, improved ERP system that our in-house I.T. department will eventually support. Task B: Identify Project Sponsor, Stakeholders, and Steering Team All projects have various roles that will fulfill their part and be responsible for ERP implementation success. We have three critical positions to the project: Project Sponsor, Stakeholders
