The way the updated course has been set up, you needed to somehow copy and paste your Excel spreadsheets into this document, along with pasting both the
Project Charter template and the Scope Statement template.
That’s a lot of finessing with MSWord which many of you are perfectly capable of doing, but it’s still a pill. So, I’ve come up with a way to simplify our
lives. I’ve set this template up to handle both parts of the Course Project in MSWord for you!
 In the Project Introduction Section, you need to tell us about the back story. What is the problem, why do we have it, what do you plan to do about it,
and anything else that is different or new about your solution to the organization?
 The next section is the Charter. Just fill it in as per our discussions in Week-1.
 The next two sections are the Stakeholder Engagement Plan, and the Communication Management Plan. Rather than somehow cram them in this
document, I’ve added a reference to say you will attach them as a separate Excel file.
 The next section after that is the Scope Statement. Just fill it in as per the discussions in Week 3.
 The final section is the Microsoft Project Plan. Again, I’ve added a reference to say you will attach that as a separate file.
So, when you submit Course Project Part I to the grade book it will be as 3 separate files.
1. This file with your Project Charter and Scope Statement filled out.
2. An Excel spreadsheet (Called MGMT404 Planning Templates) with 2 of the 3 tabs filled in (your Stakeholder Engagement Plan, and your Communication
Plan)
3. A copy of your .MPP file (which is your schedule in Microsoft Project)
