(Gustavo, 2020). As many people know, COVID-19 hit the world hard in 2020. Patients arrived at the hospital with flu-like symptoms and fever. They were tested for COVID-19, and results were positive. The main symptom that these patients were having was shortness of breath. A lot of these patients ended up on ventilators, and many died. Another factor that doctors were seeing in these patients was obesity. These were healthy people but the major risk factor for getting this sick was obesity. This issue was seen not only the elderly but particularly the younger generations. People with obesity are more likely than normal-weight people to have other diseases that are independent risk factors for severe COVID-19
