A domestic company situated in America has to conform to domestic regulations only but a multinational firm on the other hand has to conform to regulations from each jurisdiction it has its assets in. An international company having its head quarter either in USA or elsewhere has to first create a structure of governance and management which is in line with legal requirements of all its served jurisdictions. The management of a domestic company has to confine their activities in managing local business only.
