Suppose the population fraction of people without a certain disease is 96%. Among
people with the disease, 99% show a certain symptom. Among people without the
disease, 98% do not have that symptom. If a person shows the symptom, what is the
probability that he/she has the disease?
I'm positive this is a Bayes Thm problem, please answer fully and thoroughly for my understanding and positive feedback.
