A Time When I Felt Excluded

Introduction
I remember my first time in 11th grade from Africa. Everything for me was very different, People could not understand me when I spoke and I did not understand them when they spoke, the food was different and the people were different. I was like a newborn baby, I felt very much excluded. I lost my confidence. I began to hate school. I hated the people. I hated that my parents brought me to America. I missed my country, my family and my friends because I didn't have any friends to talk to. I was unable to concentrate, speak or mingle with people, I felt so excluded and lost because of thick my African accent and my inability to make new friends.
After sometime I met Julia whom I spent a lot of time with to overcome those feeling of exclusion. She introduced me to some of her friends and told me many good things about high school. I had some good changes.
I started to look at things differently, I made more friends and I began putting stronger bricks
on my life wall.
