To support the leads acquired to produce the number of issues policies, Amica Life will need to staff sufficient levels of resources. Those resources include sales agents, new business representatives, and underwriters.  The production plan assumes that all resources work eight-hour days and 20 workdays per month. Assuming sales agents can process four leads per day, Amica Life will require between 32 and 40 sales agents per month based on the demand. New business representatives can process six applications per day so Amica Life will require between four and five pers per month. Additionally, underwriters can review four applications per day so three underwriters will be needed each month and will not fluctuate as much as the other resources.
