This design document is for an app called 1Latte which is cited as a œnext-generation social networking platform designed to replace Facebook and YouTube. 1Latte is an online application so there are no geographical restraints and income is not a limiting factor given the low cost of $2.95 per month. No specific education is required to use theapp, however, basic computer knowledge is recommended.1Latte has an appealing security plan allowing its users to see, download, and clear all data collected in the running and maintenance of 1Latte. This security plan provides users peace of mind knowing that they are in control of their data and it™s not held against them or withheld from them. Given that YouTube recently had a massive security breach impacting 23 million of its users (Winder, 2019), and Facebook has had multiple security breaches, with a large attack in 2018 that exposed 50 million of its users accounts (Isaac & Frenkel, 2018), 1Latte™s security plan will come as a great relief to users paying for the service.
