Kaiser Foundation Health Plan has more than 12 million members in eight states and the District of Columbia. Kaiser is one of the largest not-for-profit managed health care companies in the U.S. Kaiser has an integrated model, offering both hospitals and physician care through a network of hospitals and physician practices operating under the Kaiser Permanente name. Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, Kaiser Foundation Hospitals, and their respective subsidiaries reported 2019 annual financial results. Total operating revenues for 2019 were $84.5 billion, compared to $79.7 billion in 2018. Since non-for-profit hospitals are expected to re-invest their funds back into their organization, Kaiser has opened 17 new medical offices in 2019.
