This can be seen with the introduction of new foods, new religions, and new games as two worlds become one. However, with the introduction of new ideals there also came the clash between cultures which is easy to see and examine such as the Indian Removal Acts and Natives being forced to practice the European™s way of life as well as being forced to leave their native lands. Due to these clash of ideas and morals countless conflicts and wars began, but within the chaos also came peace. These two groups showed peace amongst each other and the concept of peaceful business dealings is what started the fur trade business between Natives and European settlers. With over seven million Native Americans living in North America, European settlers first made contact in 1492. These settlers interacted differently when it came to the Indigenous people of the land. For example, the French settlers could build relationships and live, for the most part, in harmony with the Natives but the Spanish on the other hand, wanted to conquer and force the Native American™s from their land. The English settlers were like Switzerland, they were neither too harsh or too friendly, they treated the Natives somewhere in the middle of how the French and Spanish interacted with
