The skills gap is especially crucial in I.T. because of how dependent our society is on technology. But employers can help close this skills gap by providing their employees with training. Training programs improve many things, but it gives every employee the chance to grow, and allows employers to work in soft business skills training as well. Training also ensures company data stays secure at all times. In short, employers who hope to close the skills gap associated with their I.T. department can do so by paying for training ensuring that, all employees can improve, soft business skills can be developed, and company data will remain secure. Some people disagree and have different views on the skills gap and the best solution.
