WIC provides supplemental foods, nutritional education, healthcare referrals for low-income pregnant and postpartum, and breastfeeding women. It also offers services to infants and children up to age five who are at nutritional risk. The purpose of the WIC is to safeguard the health of low-income women, infants, and children up to age five who are at nutritional risk. The funds for the WIC program are through the federal government. The service is being offered at many different  locations such as hospitals, schools, county health departments, and health service facilities. WIC services are not limited to food; they also provide services including immunization, health screening, substance abuse referrals, education of breastfeeding, and more (Food and nutritional service: US department of agriculture, 2013).  On the other hand, planned parenthood provides services related to comprehensive sexual and reproductive health care such as abortion services and referral, birth control, emergency contraception, and Human immune deficiency virus. It also provides high-quality health care for LGBT patients and men's health. M
