2 Journal Final Project Review.docx    1-2 Journal: Final Project Review  Southern New Hampshire University  In this healthcare course I plan to apply the knowledge I learned in this course by being able to reflect the fact that the healthcare system we have today in the United State is considered to be the most expensive in the world, and this is because the United States healthcare system consist of three major stakeholders which are the payer, the providers, and the patients (article). The purchases consist of commercial, government, and Medicare and Medicaid purchasers, which gives patients the option to be insured or uninsured and taking coverage straightforwardly or ramblingly through a sponsor (article).As well the use of the healthcare reimbursement models of accountable care, global or capitation payments, bundled payments, Prometheus payments, and fee-for-service model (article). I will also be able to spread the knowledge I have learned with the use of different reimbursement methodologies such as retrospective reimbursement which consist of a third partyer payer, and reflects on the payer determining the total amount of the healthcare services when the patients has already received the service (bookepg 7). The prospective reimbursement which is where they offer a predetermined expanse for all the services provided within a specific time frame (book, pg9). Which is usually use to establisha certain period of time, or covered cycle for service, but not the patients individual health service (book pg 9
