CHData_Stewardship_Standards_and_Guidelines.docx    Data Stewardship Standards and Guidelines  Grand Canyon University: HCA-360  As Health care information and HIMS have become a staple in health care delivery, it is fundamental to treat data with high importance and create innovative solutions to collect, analyze and interpret data so it can be optimally used for promoting the health care industry, including many stakeholders at different levels, in private and public health. To solidify data stewardship between public health and clinical sectors, a comprehensive plan which includes guidelines, steps and measures, will be proposed to make the collaboration successful and meaningful.    Whether it is clinical data or public health data, the alignment of standards, consistent regulations across different entities and deliberate collaborations are key to promoting health care delivery. It would create a base for standardized best practices, increased patient safety, solid HIMS infrastructure and most significantly, effective interoperability.
