Your design should identify an OS as well as specify and explain all required hardware (no peripherals) including the following components:  The first thing I decided on for building my dream gaming computer was what CPU I  wanted. All parts must be compatible, and it all starts with the CPU.  I chose the AMD Ryzen 9  5900X.  It has 12 cores and 24 threads.  It has a base clock of 3.7GHz and a boost clock of  4.8GHz and can be overclocked.  It is the best CPU for gaming available on the market currently, but a downfall is that it is really hard to find for purchase because it is in such high demand. Following the CPU is the motherboard.  I chose the ASUS ROG Strix X570-E Premium X570 which is a ATX sized motherboard. This motherboard allows the overclocking with matching the CPU choice and has a total of 25 buses so the options for upgrades and card installations in quite extensive.  Next, I chose the video/graphics card.  I chose the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 which  is currently the best graphics card for PC gaming right now. It holds 10GB of memory and holds very high performance standards.  Following the graphics card I chose the RAM I wanted.  I decided on the TEAM XTREEM ARGB 16GB DDR4-3600MHz
