Generality refers to a change in behavior that lasts over time, that can be replicated in different environments (Baer et al., 1968). Effective ensures that the steps taken change socially  significant behavior (Baer et al., 1968). Technological ensures that all the procedures and written out in detail so that others can replicate it with the same results (Baer et al., 1968). Analytic  refers to the control over the occurrence of behavior within an experiment as well as providing functional relationships. Conceptually systematic makes sure that all interventions come from the basic principles of behavior (Baer et al., 1968). Applied ensures that only socially significant behaviors are being targeted during interventions.
