Rise of Multicultural Empires.docx  Survey of World History  Task-2  The Rise of Multicultural Empires (through 600 CE)  The history of Greece reveals a location from which most of what is considered modern knowledge was derived. The area hosted various scholars, philosophers, historians and athletes hence an interest in understanding how the geographical factors facilitated this success. Greeks had a variety of gods whom they believed maintained human attributes such as strength and beauty. Funerary art such as a coin, pottery and frescos were mostly used to atone the dead.   The Romans, on the other hand, highly valued entertainment and hence the uniqueness in the existence of satire and colosseums.
