Corporate Social Responsibility   Amazon is a well-known online retailer and one of the most successful and profitable companies in the world. Amazon is best known for their manufacturer of electronic book readers which are currently leading the market (Hall, 2018). Amazon was founded in 1995 by Mark Hall (Hall, 2018). I selected Amazon to analyze their code of ethics as I believe it excels in several areas. Their code of ethics is thorough, short and comprehensive.  I believe Amazons code of ethics currently meets the area of corporate social responsibility. As I discussed earlier, many companies have adopted corporate social responsibility practices to help grow and expand their organization while stimulating a great organization work culture. According to the course reading, corporate social responsibility is made up of four different types of responsibilities: legal, ethical, economic and philanthropic. These four components are very important in establishing a company that is considered corporate social responsible.
