The Amazon private cloud is a low up-front cost and has some features that can be utilized to assist the company with their needs. These features can include creating a virtual environment honey pot at low cost to help attract hackers if they get in as well as monitor activity. The added service space with virtual servers and pay-as-you-go feature in Amazon Private Clouds can also allow you to add more resources to create an active syslog server for storage of current logs and past logs.
