Competency_2_SWOT_Analysis.docx    SWOT Analysis  University of Phoenix  MHACB/505  Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats Analysis  A clinical setting within a healthcare facility builds on the experience a patient has when arriving. Many believe the experience will have long wait times to be able to see their doctor. While conducting this SWOT analysis, I took a look at Pediatric and OB/GYN clinic. I will be looking for any strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats while conducting my visit.   Strengths  As I walked around the clinic, I observed patients when they entered the building, walked to the waiting room, and while they exited. Each patient that I watched expressed relief when conversating with the front office personal. They seem relaxed and assured that the front office staff would be able to answer any of their questions and schedule their follow up appointments while they were checking in. When I walked behind the desk to observe the view from the front office staff employees I was able to sense the relaxation and knowledge that each employee had. When employees know their jobs and build a rapport with each of their patients, the beginning of any patients experience is refreshing and comfortableBlayney, D. W. (2008).    Weaknesses  The clinics weaknesses out weight the strengths in my opinion only in the way the buildings blueprint was designed.
