It will discuss why a high-performing team is needed within the health care environment and how they are a necessity for assessing quality care. Another thing that will be discussed is the different roles that each person will play within the team and ow they impact each other. As well as how working in a team can be good even when there are conflicts and how that impacts the team. Lastly it will discuss the different resources and types of support available to the team that can help the team enhance the quality improvement.  Teamwork  When working in the health care field teamwork is inevitable because in order to provide the best quality care possible everyone must work together to help heal the patient. Therefore, teamwork is crucial in helping improve quality. One reason why they are crucial to improving the health care quality is because when a patient is sick and you are the doctor you are not the only one who is diagnosing them you have a team of doctors, nurses, and other medical staff who help to determine the exact cause. Another reason why high performing team are necessary is because each member has different skills and experiences to bring to the table which exceeds the abilities of just one person (SHRM, 2020)
