She worked in an agency called Empact as her most recent agency. She described it as a œhighly creative atmosphere. Some of the treatment goals in her groups were to find support and to be able to share their story. She worked a lot in trauma therapy. Some limits she shared about her content and members where that they needed to have not be easily triggered, needed to be at least 18, and needed to be female. They also could not have any type of criminal history because they were free services under grant. She believed that the sizing of the group should be determined by the type of group and the subject matter. Some leadership skills she mentioned that to her were necessary to be a leader is to have an inquisitive mind. She wants you to be able to look at a group of clients as sources of information rather than thinking that you as the counselor already have it. She believes that a leader cannot get flustered easily and that leaders need back up plans for their back up plans. The most common ethical problem to come up for her was confidentiality. This is meaning not only confidentiality between her and the patients but also confidentiality between the members themselves. œWhat happens in group should stay in group. She started her own DB
