Community_Teaching_Plan_Experience.docx  NRS 428VN  Community Teaching Plan Experience Paper  Diabetes  NRS 428VN  Teaching Experience Paper  This paper will elaborate on the method of teaching on the topic of diabetes causes, and health complications associated with diabetes. The presentation was provided for middle-aged adults in the community church. The participants age varied from 25 to 40 years old. There were more women than men in the group, and as I found out they were the ones taking care of their families. In addition to do familys daily work like cleaning, cooking they also took care of their familys health requirements like doctors appointments and different check-ups. At the beginning I distributed a hard copy of a PowerPoint presentation. The PowerPoint used colorful images combined with simple explanatory words for a greater visual impact. I used visuals such as graphs, diagrams, or images to help my presentation, and to illustrate my point. The teaching method is based around teach back method, hands on learning, and auditory learning. I began my presentation with everybody in the room introducing themselves.  After introductions, I explained the purpose of the meeting, and asked participants about their willingness to make lifestyle change to address their diabetes care. At the beginning of the presentation the participants could snack on the healthy food that I provided for them. After their snack I demonstrated the proper measurement of blood glucose level. I made sure that everybody was paying c
