The women who come here meet with a caseworker who starts the intake process and determines the services the client will need and is assigned to one of the highly qualified counselors. The client then meets with her assigned counselor. The client and the counselor then develop a plan with obtainable goals to get the client back on her feet. Phoenix Women's Shelter offers a variety of services and resources to meet clients' expectations.   Services Provided by program:  Group Counseling  The group counseling service provides a way for families to gather as groups and talk about how to turn dysfunctional traits into functional traits. The group will learn how to do this together and can do role-plays as the counseling goes on to help put the learning into action. Learning how to put more functional traits into daily living can be more accessible when doing it with others in a similar situation.  1.Each family will create an activity to help practice the function traits weekly and share with the group to do  2.Roleplay twice a week to improve transforming dysfunctional habits into functional traits  3.Self-help activities after group given out by the group counselor  Family Counseling  Family counseling is a way for the family to help bring the focus back and encourage the entire family to transform dysfunctional traits into functio
