SAD impacts about seven percent of adults, thats fifteen million people that are being affected every day. SAD stops individuals from living life to the fullest. SAD is causing them to avoid all or most situations affecting personal, social, and work relationships. “To create an extraordinary quality of life, you must create a vision thats not only obtainable, but that is sustainable.” (Robbins, 2020) There are several ways to help people with social anxiety such as relaxation techniques, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing, and cognitive behavioral therapy. Help is out there, but its not readily available, only select therapists have been trained and are qualified to use them. An effective way to address the problem of social anxiety is to offer these therapies as a college certification course, encourage current therapists to get certified, and ongoing training for staff at mental health facilities.  When we see someone that we care about struggling with mental helth issues we usually tell them to see a therapist.
