With this in mind, it is clear that failure to engage staff can result in lesser patient outcomes and significant business losses. As such, making impactful improvements in a healthcare organization to enhance employee engagement is necessary to ensure the hospital's long-term success. Baring this in mind, I would like to propose some steps to increase medical staff engagement in our organization and recenter our focus on being patient-centered. I will also overview the practical benefits that these steps would offer. An excellent first step would be revisiting the mission and vision statements of the organization. It is important to note that these statements are not set in stone and should be augmented as priorities shift.
