Unit 4 Assignment 1 Developing High-Performance Teams

This is an article that has been written by two authors in a bid to bring out the meaning of having an effective leader when developing the high performance teams. The main information presented in this article is a discussion on the methods of the way that the manager can use the methods to make sure that he or she is able to create the teamwork and effective leadership among the cross functional groups. This is something that can be of benefit to these groups and can play a fundamental role in making the teams realize their success with ease. The article also stresses on the evaluation of the team members, as well as the leaders ability in communication and administrative skills. Another thing that I like about this article is because of the fact that it stresses on methods of conflict resolution of which is an important aspect in an organizational set up. There are various methods highlighted of which a modern manager can find useful in creating healthy relationship among teams and the entire organization as a whole.
