A key trend that supports the implementation of community health information networks (CHIN) in today’s health care organizations is the availability of resources and great improvement in technology. Previously, CHIN required large amounts of money to be implemented due to expensive equipment such as computers and inadequate technological skills. In the present times, computers and internet services are available at affordable costs which can be accessed by various organizations. There is also increasing knowledge level in technology hence installation and use of the system is much easier.
